Creating a collections export run
- Select Billing > Delinquency > Create Collections Export Run.
-
Specify the collections export setup you're using for the run
in the Export Setup
field.
The export setup specifies the template that will be used to create the export file, the path to the directory where the export file will be stored, and the collection agency the export file will be sent to. You can click the popup button to the right of the Export Setup field to open the Collections Export Setup Lookup, which you can use to select an existing setup or create a new one.
- Specify any other parameters you want to use to select accounts for the run in the fields under Parameters.
- Under Occurrence, select Immediately if you want the export run to start right away, or select Scheduled to schedule the run for later.
- If you selected Scheduled, specify the date and time you want the collections export run to start.
-
Click Generate .
A dialog box is displayed saying that the collections export run was successfully scheduled for the present time or, if you specified a future starting date and time, for the date and time specified. Infor Public Sector also adds a collections export run task to the Batch Manager. You can use the Batch Manager Log to check the status of the task.
-
Click Close to close the dialog box.
The Refresh button is displayed in the lower right corner of the form. If you left the Starting Date fields blank, you can click this button to see the current progress of the collections export run.
The first time you click the button after the run is complete, Infor Public Sector shows a message that the run has been added, including its collections export run number and the duration of the process. You can click the Add Another Collections Export Run link to restore the blank Create Collections Export Run form. Click the Collections Export Run # link to view the run in the Collections Export Run InfoViewer.
