Linking transferred accounts

During the move-out process, if the customer is setting up a new account with your agency, Infor Public Sector will automatically link the new account to the previous account. The new account is designated as the “transferred to” account, and the old one is the “transferred from” account.

You can also use the Manage Account page to link and unlink accounts manually. Note that the "transferred from" account must be one that is closed or has initiated the move-out process. In other words, a customer can't transfer to a new account until the old one is closed or closing.

To link to a "transferred from" account, click Link Transferred From Account on the Maintenance tab, or in the Quick Links panel on the Summary tab if it is displayed there. The Link Transferred To Account link is also displayed if the current account is closed or closing.

After clicking either of these links, specify the correct account number and click Save. Infor Public Sector then links the two accounts and changes the selected link to either Unlink Transferred From Account or Unlink Transferred To Account.
