Creating a service request for an account

If you need to create a service request for an account, such as a request to start service or take a meter reading, you can use the Create Service Request link. Infor Public Sector opens the Submit Service Request form and automatically fills in the address of the account and the account number. You can also select an account contact to use for the service request.

  1. Select Billing > Manage Account.
  2. Load the account you want.
  3. On the Maintenance tab, under Service Requests, click Create Service Request.
    You can also create a service request from the Summary tab by clicking the Create Service Request quick link if that link is displayed.
  4. Select a contact for the service request from the grid and click Next.
    If you don't want to use any of the account contacts for the service request, click Skip.
