Line item types
Line item setups are managed in a single location, so you can use the same line items across multiple bill types. After you define line item types, you can add them to bill types.
Note that line items include charges and every type of transaction that can affect the balance of a bill, including payments, penalties, and adjustments. To process payments for a specific bill type, for example, you must define at least one payment line item and associate it with the bill type.
Depending on the Infor Public Sector products your agency has purchased, you'll see up to three main nodes in the tree: , for CDR Billing line items, for Sundry Billing linte items, and for Utility Billing line items. Each of these includes sub-nodes for all of the different types of line items you can define, such as adjustments and one-off charges. To define a new line item type, right-click the desired node and select Create "Line Item" Setup.
