Defining an employee's access level
You can provide an extra level of security to a budget by assigning access rights to the budget's organizational levels. You can specify which users can change a level's allocation amounts and which users can only view the level's allocations. You can also prevent a user from viewing or changing a level's information by not granting the user access to budget records when you set up access control.
Note: You can only define access
rights for users who are assigned to roles in Access Control that have the
permission to view budgets. Users who have been assigned to roles that have
permission to update budgets can change budget allocation information regardless of
the access level assigned in the budget.
