Category hierarchy
A category hierarchy is a structure used to define the different budget categories
to which funds may be allocated and to set the allocation amounts for each level in the
organizational hierarchy.
Each category level can have multiple subcategories. After the category hierarchy for the budget is defined, the different levels in the organizational hierarchy can use the category hierarchy to set allocation amounts for their budget requirements. The allocations made at each level of the organizational hierarchy will also be available to the next level up.
