Asset preferences
Use the node in the My Infor Preferences box to specify how asset information is displayed in Infor Public Sector. You can also select the information that you want to show on the Life History tab of the asset InfoViewers.

Setting the roadway display unit
If your agency has purchased Infor Public Sector Roadway, a default unit of measure for roadway distances can be selected from the Roadway Display Unit list. This unit of measure is used when showing roadway information in certain locations, such as in the grid in the Asset Group InfoViewer.
The unit of measure selected here is not used in:
- Roadway forms such as the Roadway Lookup or the Roadway InfoViewer. Those forms use the unit specified in the Top Ruler Units list in the Roadway Viewer Preferences dialog box. To open this dialog box, click the button in the Roadway InfoViewer.
- Roadway distances in the asset control, which is the control used to identify assets in forms such as Create Work Order. The unit that you select for the To field becomes the default unit of measure for roadways in the asset control.
