Performing a GIS search

If you want to search the geodatabase rather than the Infor Public Sector database, you can perform a GIS search. After selecting a layer to search in, you can select one or more attributes of that layer to use as search criteria.

  1. Click Search & Options.
  2. Click the Search and Query tab.
  3. Click GIS Search.
  4. Select the layer you want to search in from the Layer list.
  5. Enter your search criteria.
    You can enter one or more search conditions. To enter a search condition, select the attribute you want to search on from the first list under Condition. Select the comparison operator from the second list, and enter the value for the comparison in the field to the right. When you click Add to Query, Infor Public Sector GIS adds your condition to the Description field. You can follow the same steps to add additional conditions. Multiple conditions will be separated by AND operators.
  6. Click Search.
