Measuring a linear distance in the map

  1. In the Map Browser, click Tools and select Measure.
  2. Click the Distance button in the measurement tool.
  3. Click the point in the map where you want to begin your measurement.
  4. Move your mouse pointer and click the point you want to measure the distance to. The map draws a line between the two points and shows the distance between them in the measurement tool.
  5. To change the unit of measure, click the arrow button to the right of the current unit and select the new unit from the list.
  6. To continue measuring, click a third point. The map adds a line between the second and third points and shows the cumulative distance.
  7. To change the unit of measure, click the arrow button to the right of the current unit and select the new unit from the list.
