Standard operating procedures
If your agency has developed standard operating procedures for certain tasks, such as submitting specific types of service requests or applications, these procedures can be recorded and displayed when performing those tasks. Standard operating procedures may consist of instructions to record specific information or request certain materials from customers.
For example, your agency's standard operating procedures for starting a building application for a residential addition may require builders to provide a protection plan for adjacent buildings. An employee starting an application of this type can then access these instructions and request such documentation from the applicant.
If you are responsible for setting up records in Infor Public Sector, you can define the standard operating procedures for certain records using the appropriate forms.
You can view standard operating procedures by clicking the
button on any form that shows this button. Note that this button is inactive when you first open the form. It becomes active when you select a record type, such as a service request type or application type, that has standard operating procedures defined for it.
