Adding an existing attachment

If the file that you want to attach to a record is already stored in an attachments catalog, you can browse to the catalog and attach the file.
Note: You can only add existing attachments if the catalog they are stored in uses a Fileserver provider. If the catalog uses an EDMS provider, you must add new attachments.
  1. Click the Settings button in the top right corner of the Attachments control and select Add Existing Attachment.
  2. In the Catalogs tree, browse to the catalog that contains the attachment.
  3. In the Attachments grid, select the file that you want to attach.
  4. Click Select.
    Infor Public Sector attaches the selected file to the current record. The Attachments control shows a thumbnail for the attachment. You can click the thumbnail or the file name below it to view the attachment in the appropriate application.
