Filtering records in a grid

If a grid contains a large number of records, you can filter them based on one or more columns. Infor Public Sector provides several different filtering options.

To filter records in a grid, first click the Grid Settings button and select Show Filter Row. The filter row is displayed below the column headers, and includes a filter field for each column.

Note: Some grids, such as lookup results grids, show the filter row by default.

The icon to the left of the filter field in each column indicates the operator that will be used for filtering, such as Equals, Starts With, or Less Than. You can click the icon to select a different operator from a list.

For each column that you want to use for filtering, select the correct operator and enter your criteria in the filter field. Then click the Filter Menu button and select Run Filter. The grid will then show only those records that match the filter criteria. To show all records again, click the Filter Menu button and select Clear Filter.
