Popups

A popup is a separate window that is linked to a field. It shows the codes, records, or dates that can be entered in that field. All Department fields, for example, link to a Department popup that shows all the department codes currently in your database. A popup button is displayed to the right of all fields with popups.

To open the popup, click the popup button or place your cursor in the field and press ENTER. To load a code into the field, double-click the code in the popup list, or select it and click Select.

There are a few different types of popups. Like the Department popup, most list the possible codes that can be entered into a field. Other types of popups are calculator popups, calendar popups, multi-field popups, and tree popups.
