Adding asset valuations to valuation groups

There are four ways to add asset valuations to valuation groups.

Add Asset Valuation

When creating a new asset valuation, you can specify a valuation group in the Valuation Group field. You can only add the valuation to a single group in this way, but you can add additional groups after the valuation is saved.

Lookup Asset Valuations

You can use the Action button in the lookup to add asset valuations to a group. Select one or more valuations in your lookup results, click Action, and select Add Valuations to a Group. Then select the group you want in the Select a Valuation Group dialog box.

Asset Valuation InfoViewer

In the Asset Valuation InfoViewer, the valuation groups that a valuation belongs to are displayed in the Asset Valuation Groups grid on the Related Records tab.

Asset Valuation Group InfoViewer

The Asset Valuation Group InfoViewer shows all the valuations that belong to the current group in the Asset Valuations grid.
