Reversing a linear asset

  1. Select Asset Management > Assets > [asset module].
  2. On the tab for the correct linear asset type, under Configuration, click Reverse "Asset" Tool.
  3. Specify this information:
    Reverse "Asset"
    Specify the ID of the asset being reversed.
  4. Click Finish.

    The two ends of the asset are flipped, and all measurements are recalculated from the new start.

    History records are added for all affected work orders, inspections, and service requests. Because these records represent historical events rather than asset characteristics, their measurements aren’t adjusted.
