Adding an asset detail
- Select Asset Management > Assets > [asset module].
-
On any tab, under Configuration, click Detail Page Setup.
The same page is used to define details for all asset types, so you can open it from any tab.
- In the Assets tree, browse to the node for the asset type for which you're defining the detail; or select the root Assets node to define a detail for multiple asset types.
- Click Add above the grid.
-
In the Detail
Page Title field, specify the title that is displayed on the
tab.
Note: Each detail page must have a unique title.
-
Load a detail page into the Name of Detail Page field.
Click the popup button to the right of the Name of Detail Page field.
- To use a new page, select Create New Page, click Next, and use the Page Builder to create your page.
- To use an existing page, select Use Existing Page, select the correct detail page from the Details Pages popup, and click Select.
In the Name of Detail Page field, Infor Public Sector shows the detail that you either created or selected.
-
Specify any other information about the tab.
Note: If you want to limit which InfoViewers the tab is displayed on, you can use a detail page formula in the Event Name field. For example, you could create a formula that instructs Infor Public Sector to show this tab on the Vehicle InfoViewer for only vehicles of a certain type, such as utility trucks.
-
Click Save.
Infor Public Sector saves the detail page setup, adds the tab to the appropriate asset InfoViewer, and shows the detail page in the grid. The next time you open an asset InfoViewer with an associated detail page, the new tab is displayed at the end of the list of tabs.
