Adding a detail to an asset inspection type

  1. Select Asset Management > Assets > [Asst Module].
  2. On the appropriate asset type tab, under Configuration, click Inspection Types.
  3. In the Inspection Types tree, browse to the detail pages for the appropriate inspection type.
  4. Click the Detail Page node.
  5. Click Add above the grid.
  6. Specify this information:
    Description
    Specify a description of the detail page.
    Detail Page Title
    Specify the title that is displayed on the page.
    Note: Each detail page must have a unique title.
    Name of Detail Page
    Load a detail page into this field. Click the popup button to the right of this field.
  7. To create a new page, select Create New Page, click Next, and create your page in the Page Builder.
  8. To use an existing page, select Use Existing Page, select the correct detail page from the Details Pages popup, and click Select.
    In the Name of Detail Page field, the detail that you either created or selected is shown. After a page is displayed in this field, you can modify it by clicking the field's popup button again, selecting Edit Existing Page, and clicking Next. The detail page is loaded into the Page Editor where you can modify it. When you're finished, click Save. You can also delete a detail page by clicking the field's popup button, selecting Remove Page, and clicking Next.
    Note: The name of the page or section will be the text after the final period in the detail page's class name, as displayed in the Name of Detail Page field. For example, if the class name of your detail page is Agency.AssetManagementApplet.Brakes, the name of the page or section will be Brakes.
  9. Optionally, specify Effective and Expire dates.
  10. Click Save.
  11. When you're finished adding detail pages, click Close.
    The next time you open or create an inspection of this type, the detail page is displayed as a page in the Create Inspection process or a section in the Inspection InfoViewer.
    Note: If there are multiple pages, you can change their order by reordering the records in the grid. The order of the detail pages in the grid determines the order in which the details is displayed in the inspection record.
