  3. Specify this information under OLD [Asset Type]:
    Exchange Date

    Asset ID
Specify the identification code for the old asset. If the asset is currently installed at an address position, the old asset's address, position, and installed date is shown.

    Service Status
Specify the identification code for the status of the old asset.
    Reading
Specify the old asset's usage reading at the time of removal. In the rare case that this final reading is 0.00, click Record Zero Reading to indicate that you have deliberately specified a reading of 0.00. Note that clicking the link also replaces any value in the field with 0.00.
  4. Specify this information under NEW [Asset Type]:
    Asset ID
Specify the identification code for the new asset.
    Service Status
Specify the identification code for the status of the new asset.
    Reading
Specify the new asset's usage reading at the time of installation or click Record Zero Reading. Note that clicking the link also replaces any value in the field with 0.00.
  5. Click Save.
Infor Public Sector makes the old asset inactive and associates the new asset with the address. Infor Public Sector shows a message that the assets have been exchanged successfully and clears the fields so that you can exchange more assets of this type. Note that Infor Public Sector automatically adds the final reading to the old asset record and the initial reading to the new asset record. Infor Public Sector also transfers the location information, structural information, asset associations, and asset group associations from the old asset to the new one.
