Adding asset performance indicators

To add performance indicators in the InfoViewers, use the Perf Inds tab. You can also add performance indicators when you create an asset, by scrolling down the page and clicking the Show button Show button next to Performance Indicators. In either case, performance indicators are add in the Performance Indicators grid.
  1. In the asset InfoViewer or the Create Asset page, click Add above the Performance Indicators grid.
  2. Specify the code for the performance indicator in the Indicator field.
  3. In the Low Range and High Range fields, specify the normal range for this performance indicator.
Recording the normal range for a performance indicator serves two purposes. First, the normal range is shown in the performance graph, giving you a quick visual indication of how well an asset is performing. In addition, you can direct Infor Public Sector to automatically generate a work order if an asset's performance readings start to fall outside the normal range.
  4. If required, specify a unit of measure for the performance indicator in the Unit of Measure field.
  5. If you want Infor Public Sector to create a work order when the asset's readings fall outside the normal range, select the Always or Upon Confirmation option button.
  6. In the Activity field, specify the activity for the work order that will be created if an asset's performance readings fall outside the expected range.
  7. Click Save.
Infor Public Sector adds the performance indicator to the asset. You can click the name in the Perf column in the Performance Indicators grid to open the Performance History dialog box, where you can record and review performance readings, and view the performance graph.
