Performance indicators
For some asset types, you can use performance indicators and performance readings to
keep track of how well an asset is functioning.
For example, a typical performance indicator for a vehicle is fuel efficiency. When you add a performance indicator to an asset you can specify the expected normal range of performance readings for that indicator, and you can direct Infor Public Sector to automatically generate work orders if the asset's readings fall outside that range.
After you've added a performance indicator to an asset you can begin recording performance readings, such as MPG readings for a fuel efficiency indicator. This gives you a complete performance history for the asset, which is displayed in a graph.
