Resequencing a solid waste route by interval

  1. Select Asset Management > Assets > Solid Waste, and select a route.
  2. Click Modify Sequence Numbers.
  3. Under Resequence By Interval, indicate which positions you want to resequence.
    To apply this change to a range of positions, specify the beginning and ending index numbers for the range in the Index Number and To fields. To apply this change to all positions in the route, click All. The beginning and ending index numbers of the route's positions are entered as the index range.
  4. Specify this information:
    Start Sequence At
    Specify the sequence number you want to assign to the first position in your specified range.
    Increment Sequence By
    Specify the amount you want add to each sequence number.
  5. Click Resequence.
    The specified range of sequence numbers are restarted with your start sequence number and, if you entered an increment amount, adds that amount to each modified position in the range. For example, if your original route has these index numbers, sequence numbers, and positions:
    Index # Sequence # Position
    1 100 Position 1 at Address A
    2 200 Position 2 at Address A
    3 300 Position 1 at Address B
    4 400 Position 1 at Address C
    5 500 Position 1 at Address D
    Then you enter these values:
    • Index Number: 2 to 4
    • Start Sequence At: 150
    • Increment Sequence By: 10
    Your resulting route will have these sequence numbers:
    Index # Sequence # Position
    1 100 Position 1 at Address A
    2 150 Position 2 at Address A
    3 160 Position 1 at Address B
    4 170 Position 1 at Address C
    5 500 Position 1 at Address D
