To add positions in the
middle of a route after it is created, you can increment the sequence numbers between
positions. This creates space for new positions to be inserted later. For example, when
you initially create a route, you could increment your sequence numbers from 100 to 200,
so any positions added to the route later could be placed at the 110 or 120 positions.
-
Select , and look up the route.
A Route
Addresses grid is displayed at the bottom of the form. If you're
editing a route, all addresses already added to the route are displayed in the
grid. If you're creating a route, you must first add addresses to the route.
-
Click Modify Sequence Numbers.
-
Under Increment sequence numbers, indicate which positions you want to resequence.
To apply this change to a range of positions, specify the beginning and
ending index numbers for the range in the Index Number and To fields. To apply this change to all
positions in the route, click All. Infor Public Sector will enter
the beginning and ending index numbers of the route's positions as the index
range.
-
In the Increment Sequence By field, enter the amount you want to add to each sequence number.
-
Click Increment. Infor Public Sector adds the amount you entered to the specified sequence numbers.
-
When you're finished editing sequence numbers, click Close.
-
Continue to create or edit the route.
