Consequence of failure groups

A consequence of failure (CoF) group is a collection of CoF types that are used to determine the CoF score for an event type. To calculate a CoF, Infor Public Sector first calculates the score for each individual CoF type, and then sums the scores for all CoF types that belong to the group.

For example, the consequences of a bridge collapse might include loss of service, property damage, and personal injury or loss of life. Each of these specific consequences would first be defined as an individual CoF type, and you would then add them all to the consequence of failure group that you'll use to calculate the CoF for a bridge collapse.
