Calculating LOS based on a specific budget

  1. Load the LOS project you want into the Level of Service Calculator.
    To open the LOS Calculator, click Lookup LOS Projects on the Asset Analysis page. Then look up the project that you want to work with and click the link in the Project Code column to open the LOS Calculator.
  2. To calculate the level of service for selected asset groups, select the correct asset groups in the Assets grid. You can also calculate the level of service for all assets.
  3. Click the Selected or All link to the right of Calculate LOS based on specific budget.
    A dialog box shows the calculation results. For each asset group, Infor Public Sector shows the current level of service of the assets, the proposed budget, the expected level of service based on the proposed budget, the required budget to reach the LOS goal, the difference between the required and proposed budget amounts, the number of assets that can be upgraded to meet the LOS goal, and the percentage of assets in the group that will remain below the goal.
    Note: You can click the Create link to create a group project for affected assets, the Graph link to graph the present and projected LOS distribution for assets, and the View link to view affected assets in the asset InfoViewer. You can also print your calculation results.
