Creating an LOS project
- Select Asset Management > Advanced Asset Management > Asset Analysis.
- Click Create LOS Project.

Specify this information:
- Project ID
- Specify a unique identification code for the LOS project.
- Calculation Date
- Specify the last date for asset inspections to be included in the LOS project. When performing level of service calculations, Infor Public Sector will not use any asset inspections that were completed after the calculation date.
- Description
- Provide a description of the LOS project.

Add one or more asset groups to the Assets grid.
- Click Add above the grid.

Specify this information:
- Asset Type
- Specify the type of asset that you want to include in the LOS project.
- LOS Goal
- Specify the desired level of service rating for the assets in this project.
- Budget
- Specify the amount of money allocated for the LOS improvements for the asset group.
- Asset Group
- Specify the asset group that you want to include in the LOS project.
- Activity
- Specify the maintenance activity to be performed on the assets.
- Cost
- Specify the cost to bring the assets to their maximum LOS rating.
- Deterioration Rate
- Specify the rate at which the condition of an asset deteriorates
per year. Note: The deterioration rate is a flat value, not a percentage. For example, if you specify 0.5 for the deterioration rate, the assets' LOS rating will drop 0.5 points over the course of the year, not 50%.
- LOS Index
- Specify the inspection index that you want to use for LOS calculations.
- Click Approve.

Click Save.
Infor Public Sector saves the LOS project and shows a message that the project has been added. You can click the Project ID link to load the project into the Level of Service Calculator.
