Modes

Infor POS Kiosk has modes that enable different workflows for payment transactions. This table shows the modes of Infor POS Kiosk:

Mode	Description
Closed check mode	Requires the user to pay the full amount of a check through a card payment transaction. By default, the steps in this guide assume you are in closed check mode unless specified otherwise.
Open check mode	Requires the user to place an order and receive a receipt with an open check barcode. The open check transaction is then processed using Infor POS.
Preorder mode	Requires the user to pay for the order at the kiosk, which then prints a receipt that the user can present at the counter for order pickup.
