Adding a menu item to an order

Menu items may include modifier options to customize specific preparation parameters. For example, you can modify a burger menu item by selecting available topping options.

Certain menu items are classified as combo items. A combo item is a bundle of multiple menu items. For example, a burger combo has a bundle of fries and lemonade.

  1. Tap a menu item. Optionally, tap a menu item on the home screen.
  2. Optionally, tap More Nutritional Information to view the nutritional information of the menu item. Then, tap DONE.
  3. If the Options section is available, tap an option.
  4. In the Includes section, you can tap a modifier to remove it.
  5. If modifiers are available for the menu item, tap a modifier option to select it.
    Note: Depending on your configuration, tap Choose or Add to add the modifier. Optionally, tap Remove to remove a modifier
  6. If additional modifiers are available for the menu item, you can specify the quantity by tapping the plus sign + or minus sign -. The modifiers that you added are also displayed in the Includes section.
  7. For combo items, perform these additional steps:
    1. Tap Continue to XX, where XX represents the predefined menu items that are bundled with the selected combo item.
    2. Tap the bundled item of your choice, along with its modifier options.
    3. Tap Review your Meal and verify your order.
    4. To modify your order, tap Edit in the row of the menu item. After modifying your order, tap Update Item.
  8. Tap Add to Order.
  9. Tap CHECKOUT.
  10. To modify your order, tap Modify. After modifying your order, tap Update Order.
  11. If applicable, tap the plus sign + or minus sign - to specify the quantity of the menu item.
