Creating and updating a floor plan

  1. From the functions menu, tap Floor Plan Editor.
  2. To create a new floor plan, tap New Floor Plan. To update an existing floor plan, tap the name of the floor plan.
  3. Tap the pencil icon on the particular row to specify this information:
    Name
    On the on-screen keypad, specify the name of the floor plan, and tap Enter.
    Background image:
    Select the background image. To upload a background image, contact your Infor POS representative. To remove the current background image, tap Remove background image.
    Height
    On the on-screen keypad, specify the height of the floor plan in pixels, and tap Enter. This field becomes unavailable when a background image is selected.
    Width
    On the on-screen keypad, specify the width of the floor plan in pixels, and tap Enter. This field becomes unavailable when a background image is selected.
    Background color
    Select a color for the background. You can tap the arrow buttons to show the remaining colors. This field becomes unavailable when a background image is selected.
    Terminal association
    Select the terminals that are associated to the floor plan.
  4. To show the grid on the floor plan, tap the Grid button. Use this grid as a guide to position the tables with precision.
  5. From the list of the table numbers, drag the table and position it to the floor plan. Arrange the tables as needed.
  6. To remove the table from the floor plan, tap the table number and tap the Delete button.
  7. To modify the height or width of a table, perform these steps:
    1. On the floor plan, tap the table number.
    2. Specify this information:
      Table width, Table height
      On the row of these fields, tap the Enlarge button or the Shrink button to adjust the width or height by 10 pixels. Optionally, tap the Edit button, specify the number of pixels, and tap Enter.
      Table rotation
      On the row of this field, tap the Left or Right rotate arrows to rotate the table by 10 pixels. Optionally, tap the Edit button, specify the number of pixels, and tap Enter.
  8. Tap Save.
