Specifying the mobile phone number of the guest

If Infor POS is configured with a kitchen display system (KDS), you can specify the mobile phone number of a guest during an order. This enables the KDS integrated with Infor POS to send order notifications to a guest.

  1. Tap a payment option to show the Mobile Number on-screen numeric keypad.
  2. Optionally, if enabled, tap Prompt for Phone Number in the main panel.
  3. Specify the mobile phone number of the guest and tap Enter. When an order is complete, a text message is sent to the guest stating that their order is ready.
    Note: The contents of the order notification is determined by your KDS. For details, contact your Infor POS representative.
