Modes

Infor POS Kiosk has modes that enable different workflows for payment transactions. This table shows the modes of Infor POS Kiosk:

Mode	Description
Closed check mode	Requires the guest to pay the full amount of a check through a card payment transaction. By default, the steps in this guide assume you are in closed check mode unless specified otherwise.
Open check mode	Requires the guest to place an order and receive a receipt with an open check barcode. The open check transaction is then processed using Infor POS.
Preorder mode	Requires the guest to place an order and receive a receipt with an open check barcode. The open check transaction is then processed using a third-party POS.
