Assigning a tax to a tax class

If a tax class is assigned to a family group, the taxes in the tax class are applied to the menu items in the family group.

  1. Select Configuration > Groups > Tax Classes.
  2. In the row of the tax class, click Edit Taxes.
  3. Click Assign Tax.
  4. Specify this information:
    Tax
    Specify a tax.
    Included in Price
    Select this check box to add the tax in the displayed price of the menu item.
    Calculated Order
    Specify a number to determine sequence of tax calculation. This applies to menu items with multiples taxes assigned. For example, specify 0 to calculate the tax with the menu item price first.
    Active
    Select this check box to enable the tax in the tax class of the selected revenue center.
  5. Click Save.
