Adding a tare weight button

A tare weight is used for menu items that require a weighing scale integrated to Infor POS and Infor POS Kiosk. This is applicable to menu items that must be weighed to determine the price.

  1. Select Configuration > Touchscreen > Preset Tare Weights.
  2. Click Add Tare Weight.
  3. Specify this information:
    Description
    Specify a name for the tare weight.
    Tare Weight
    Specify a weight.
    Order
    Specify a number for the placement order of the button in the touchscreen menu. Buttons are arranged from left to right, with the first button displayed in the upper left corner. For example, if 0 is specified, the button is displayed in the upper left corner of the touchscreen menu.
    Units
    Select an option.
    Active
    Select this check box to enable the modifier in the selected revenue center.
  4. Click Save.
