Adding a meal period

A meal period is used to specify the time of day where selected menu items are served. For example, a menu item that is ordered from 12:01 AM to 10:59 AM is defined as part of the breakfast meal period.

  1. Select Configuration > Groups > Meal Periods.
  2. Click Add Meal Period.
  3. Specify this information:
    Period Name
    Specify a name for the meal period.
    Start Time
    Specify a start time for the meal period in the format hh:mm:ss.
    End Time
    Specify a end time for the meal period in the format hh:mm:ss.
    Note: Start and end times cannot overlap with following meal periods. For example, specify 9:00:00 AM as the next start time following a 8:59:59 AM end time from a previous meal period.
    Active
    Select this check box to enable the meal period in the selected revenue center.
  4. Click Save.
