Adding a logical printer

A logical printer represents a physical printer in your revenue center in Infor POS Enterprise Manager. Use a logical printer to connect with multiple routing groups to print receipts of specific menu items to different locations, such as multiple kitchens. For example, you can route printing of receipts with egg menu items to your first kitchen printer, while you can route printing of receipts with hash menu items to your second kitchen printer.

  1. Select Configuration > Printing > Printers > Logical Printers.
  2. Click Add Logical Printer.
  3. Specify this information:
    Logical Printer
    Specify a name for the logical printer.
    Active
    Select this check box to enable the logical printer in the selected revenue center.
  4. Click Save.
