Disabling a tender

You can restrict payment for a menu item by disabling its tender. For example, an alcoholic menu item is disabled for payment when a stored-value card tender is used.

  1. Select Configuration > Menu Items > Quick Add Menu Items.
  2. In the row of the menu item, click the Details list.
  3. Click Restrict Tenders.
  4. In the row of the tender, select the Restricted check box. This disables the tender for paying for the menu item.
  5. Click Save Changes.
  6. Optionally, disable a tender for multiple stores:
    1. In the row of the tender, click Store Settings.
    2. In the row of the store, select the Restricted check box.
    3. Click Save Changes.
  7. Optionally, disable a tender in the Groups section:
    1. Select Configuration > Groups > Family Groups.
    2. In the row of the family group, click Restrict Tenders.
    3. In the row of the tender, select the Restricted check box.
    4. Click Save Changes.
