Adding a CashEQ meal period

Similar to a generic meal period, a CashEQ meal period is used to specify which menu items are served on a certain time in an educational institution.

If integrated to a campus card payment solution, the CashEQ meal period is a feature that is available in the Infor POS product suite. If a CashEQ meal period is enabled in Infor POS Enterprise Manager, the board mode is enabled in Infor POS. For details, see the Infor POS User Guide.

  1. Select Configuration > Tenders/Discounts > CashEQ Meal Periods.
  2. Click Add CashEQ Meal Period where Campus represents the name of the campus payment solution.
  3. Specify this information:
    Meal Period Name
    Specify the name of the meal period.
    Meal Point Value
    Specify the value available for use of campus card users.
    Max Points Per Period
    Specify the maximum value required to close a campus card transaction.
    Min. Amount
    Specify the minimum value required to close a campus card transaction.
    Start Time
    Specify a start time for the meal period in the format H:MM AM/PM.
    End Time
    Specify an end time for the campus period in the format H:MM AM/PM.
    Sun, Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu, Fri, Sat
    Select the check boxes of the days when to enable the meal period.
    Active
    Select this check box to enable the meal period in the selected revenue center.
  4. Click Save.
