Adding a restricted menu item to an order

If configured in Infor POS Enterprise Manager, a menu item can be restricted for ordering. If the sale of a restricted item is disabled in the configuration panel, you cannot add a restricted menu item to an order. If enabled, a guest can add the restricted menu item to an order but requires the user credentials of an employee to proceed.

  1. Tap the restricted menu item and tap ADD TO ORDER.
  2. Tap CHECK OUT.
  3. In the Order Summary pane, tap PAY NOW to show the Age Verification window.
  4. Tap Enter ID and specify your user ID.
  5. Tap Done to proceed to payment.
  6. Optionally, swipe your employee card through the magnetic stripe reader (MSR) to proceed to payment.
