Groups management

Use Infor POS Enterprise Manager to categorize and contain menu items through groups. Groups are used to determine which information are filtered in a report. These are the two types of groups:
  • Major groups
  • Family groups
Major groups are used to contain family groups with a variety of menu items. Use major groups to contain a wide range of related menu items, such as drinks, food, and retail items. Optionally, use family groups to contain more specific categories of menu items, such as salads, meats, and desserts.
Note: If you configure an existing item and there are multiple existing items requiring multiple pages, a Show Recently Added button is displayed instead. Click this button to open the existing items for configuration.
