Adding a tax class

A tax class is used for linking menu items to a tax. You can use a tax class to categorize types of taxes and contain taxes into a single group.

  1. Select Configuration > Groups > Tax Classes.
  2. Click Add Tax Class
  3. Specify this information:
    Family Group Name
    Specify the name of the family group.
    Active
    Select this check box to enable the tax class in the selected revenue center.
  4. Click Save.
