Adding a keyword or universal product code (UPC) to a menu item

A keyword or universal product code (UPC) is used for searching or identifying the menu item in Infor POS and Infor POS Kiosk.

  1. Select Configuration > Menu Items > Quick Add Menu Items.
  2. In the row of the menu item, click the Details list.
  3. Click Keyword/UPC.
  4. Click Add Keyword/UPC.
  5. Specify this information:
    Keyword/UPC
    Specify the keyword or universal product code (UPC) for searching or identifying the menu item.
    is UPC
    If the specified text is a UPC, leave this check box selected. If the specified text is a keyword, clear this check box.
    Active
    Select this check box to enable the keyword or UPC in the selected revenue centers.
  6. Click Save.
