Adding a menu item

Click Add Menu
Items.

Specify this information:
- Menu Item
- Specify the name of the menu item.
- SKU
- Specify the product code of the menu item for searching in
Infor POS.
- Price
- Specify the price of the menu item.
- Cost
- Theoretical Cost Report.
- Family Group
- Select a family group to contain the menu item.
- Type
- If the menu item is sold through cash equivalents (CashEQ) or
meal plan points, click Specify the cost of the menu item. This information is used in
the Item Count in the
Type list. Else, click
None.
- Local Name
- Specify the name of the menu item as displayed in the
kitchen printer or display. Optionally, use this field to specify
the name of the menu item if it exceeds 30 characters.
- Priority
- Select an option for the order of priority for preparing the
menu item. Menu items with the same priority level are displayed
together in the kitchen display.
- Cook Time (min)
- Specify the cooking time required in minutes to prepare the menu
item.
- Condiment
- If the menu item is a condiment, select this check
box.
- Roll up Price
- If the menu item is a forced modifier and you require the price
of forced modifiers automatically summed, select this check
box.
- Restricted
- If the menu item is sold in Infor POS Kiosk and requires order approval, select this check
box. For example, you can require order approval for alcoholic menu
items.
- Flex Combo
- Select this check box to enable the menu item as part of a flex
combo. You can add flex combo menu items in any order in a check and
have scalable modifier options.
- Active
- Select this check box to enable the menu item in the selected
revenue center.

Click Save.

Optionally, add a menu item in the Groups section:

Select .

In the row of the family group, click Menu Items.

Click Add Menu Items.

Specify the required information.

Click Save.
