Adding a non-forced modifier to a menu item

A non-forced modifier is a menu item modifier that can be added or removed depending on your configuration. For example, a topping of onions is removed from a pizza order.

  1. Select Configuration > Menu Items > Quick Add Menu Items.
  2. In the row of the menu item, click the Details list.
  3. Click Add/No Modifier.
  4. Specify this information:
    Add Group
    Specify an option. This creates a modifier button for adding the selected option.
    No Group
    Specify an option. This creates a modifier button for removing the selected option.
    Comment Group
    Specify an option. This creates a modifier button for specifying instructions for the selected option.
  5. Optionally, to add a non-forced modifier to a specific revenue center, click Store Settings.
  6. Specify the required information.
  7. Click Save Changes.
