Multiple revenue centers in a terminal

Multi Revenue Center (RVC) on a POS terminal enables a single device to operate across multiple revenue centers, such as a restaurant floor, bar, or banquet space.

For example, if you start your shift in the restaurant and later help serve guests at the bar, you can use the same terminal for both locations instead of moving to a different device.

Your employee account and the POS terminal determine which RVCs you can access. When you sign in, you can select the RVC in which you want to work. To switch to a different RVC, tap your job code from the information bar of the POS screen.

Any new checks that you create belong to the revenue center that is active when you open the check. Existing checks remain associated with the revenue center in which they were originally opened. Reporting continues to track each outlet separately.

This configuration is suitable for shared terminals in hotels, casinos, or multi-concept venues in which dedicated hardware for each outlet is not practical.
