Configuring future orders and special instructions

You can enable guests to submit advance orders. The allowable lead time is configured within the POS Control Options. You can also enable a comment box where customers can provide special instructions on their orders.
  1. Click Order.
  2. Select the Future Orders check box.
  3. In the Special Instructions section, configure these settings:
    • To enable a comment field for item-level instructions, select the Item Level check box, then specify a title of the field and a description.
    • To enable a comment field for order-level instructions, select the Order Level check box, then specify a title of the field and a description.
  4. In the Kitchen Operation Times section, configure these settings.
    Kitchen Service Start
    To start kitchen service exactly when the store opens, select At Open Time. To start earlier, specify the number of minutes before the open time.
    Kitchen Service End
    To end kitchen service exactly when the store closes, select At Close Time. To end earlier, specify the number of minutes before close time.
  5. Click Save.
    The schedule in the Online Ordering and Pickup Times table is updated.
