Action buttons

Buttons that are not valid for a process are not available.

This table shows the action buttons used in Pathway UX:
Icon Description
Clear icon Clear: Clears the fields on a Search Profile.

If you have specified values into fields but have not performed a search, the data in the fields are cleared.

If you have performed a search and have returned to the form, the complete form is reloaded.

Save icon Save: Saves the data that has been changed on the form.

The standard behaviour is that the form is presented again for further data entry. This behaviour is not possible in all instances and the user is automatically redirected to the appropriate form.

Undo icon Undo: Reverts any data entry that has been performed to its original or last saved state.
Search icon Search: Performs a search based on the criteria specified.
More icon More: Indicates that further options are available for selection. This button is positioned on the Pathway UX title bar, the form title bar, or against grids, depending on the functionality.
Options icon Options: Shows a list of valid maintenance options depending on your process.
New icon New: Creates a new record.
Back arrow icon Back: The back arrow is found next to the form title and takes the user back one form. If there are unsaved changes, a message is displayed.
Menu hamburger icon Main menu: The hamburger icon shows or hides the main menu.
Detail icon Detail: This button is found on the grid of records. The user selects a record in the grid and clicks Detail for further information.

This button can have text next to it where more than one detail button is required.

For example, the Minor Development Categories, Question, and Conditions detail buttons are displayed.

Add icon Add: This button is found on the grid of records. The user can add a new record to the grid.
