Post-installation

The Pathway Agent is not automatically run after installation. The pop-up window is a security feature of the browser and is expected behaviour.

If the agent is not running and the web page needs the agent, it is started on-demand and as required. It is not started unless the Pathway UX page requires it.

If you open the Support page, Pathway starts the agent because the agent is required. If the agent is not already running, a prompt is displayed. This is expected behaviour.

Depending on the group policy, the prompt is always displayed as a security precaution from Chrome 77.x even though the Always open these types of links in the associated app check box has been selected previously.
