On the Data Services page, click New.

In the Create from Wizard dialog box, select Data Lake.

Click Create.

In the Create Data Service - Find API dialog box, perform
these steps:

In the Search field, specify
a word related to the API or leave the field blank.

From the search results, find the API and click Select.
To view the API details, click the plus (+)
icon of the API.

In the section, specify the data service name and description, and
assign tags.

Click Next.
-
In the section, perform these steps:

In the Available Parameters section, click the plus (+) icon of a parameter or click
Select all.

In the Selected Parameters section, review the list and perform any of
these actions:
- Specify and search for a parameter name or alias.
- Change the alias a selected parameter.
- Click the minus (+)
icon of a parameter or click Remove all.

Click Test Data
Service.
Note: The actual data service runs in the target
system.

Optionally, to view the query in the advanced editor, click Advanced mode.
Note: Once you click this button, you cannot go
back to the standard mode.

Expand the Record limit
settings section.

In the Record limit field,
select one of these options:
- Default (100): Set to
a default limit of 100 rows.
- Custom: Set to a
specific row limit.

If you click Advanced mode, perform
these steps:

In the Advanced Mode dialog box, click Yes.

In the Available Parameters - Advanced Mode section, update the JSON
and add custom parameters.

Click Test Data
Service.

Optionally, click View/Edit
JSON.

In the JSON Preview dialog box, update the schema
or the output.

Click Save.
-
Click Next.
-
In the section, view the output parameters and the query.

Click Finish.
On the Data Services page, the new data
service is automatically added to the list.
