Creating an Infor Business Context message

  1. On the Context Messages page, click New.
  2. On the Create Context Message - 1/4 Context Message page, specify the display name of the context message object, its description, and assign tags.
  3. Click Next.
  4. On the Create Context Message - 2/4 Context Message page, specify this information:
    Context Type
    Select Infor Business Context.
    Context message JSON
    Paste the JSON Body of your inbound context message.
    Validate JSON
    Click this button to show the JSON objects in the Context message tree.

    View the JSON objects.
    Use ScreenID wildcard
    Optionally, switch on this option to use the same context message with any screenId.

    Ensure that an asterisk (*) is added in the screenId object.

  5. Click Next.
  6. On the Create Context Message - 3/4 Parameters page, perform any of these steps:
    • To add a parameter, in the Context message tree field, select a parameter.

      Optionally, specify the alias and default values for each JSON path.

    • To add filter and return conditions on context parameters, select a child object.

      Specify the filter parameter, return parameter, and value, then click Add parameter.

    • To add all default parameters from the context message tree, click Generate parameters.
    • To view information about JSON Paths, click JSON help.
  7. Click Next.
  8. On the Create Context Message - 4/4 Summary page, review the context message object details.
  9. Click Finish.
On the Context Messages page, the new context message object is automatically added to the list.
