Configuring the button element
For Forms, Greeting, Menu, and Records widgets, you can configure the button settings.

Create or edit a widget.
- If you are creating a new widget, perform the steps on New Page.
- If you are updating an existing widget, perform the steps on Edit Page.
- In the Elements section, select Button.
- In the Strings sections, select a global string value for the button.
- In the Options section, click Configure Element.
- In the Button Action Settings dialog box, select the button action.
- Click Select.

If you select the Make an API call to the API
Gateway option, perform these steps:

In the Call API Options dialog box, specify this
information.
- Data Service
- Select a data service.
- Parameter
- Select a parameter and click Add.
For each parameter, specify the source and the bindable field.
- Refresh component
- Select the component to refresh when data is updated.
- Click Save.

If you select the Go to a link
option, perform these steps:

In the Go To Options dialog box, specify this
information.

- Select None, Website, Drillback, or Bookmark.
- Binding type
- Select Static value, Variable, or Expression.
- Value
- Depending on the binding type, specify the static or the variable value, or
open the expression editor to use custom expressions.
For Static value, specify this information:
- If you select Website, specify the URL in http://
or https:// protocols.
For example, https://www.infor.com.
- If you select Drillback, specify the drillback
logical ID URL of the application.
For example, ?Logicalid=lid://infor.mongoose.mongoose&form=idoTables.
- If you select Bookmark, specify the logical ID URL
or the Site ID URL.
For example, for logical ID URL, ?FavoriteContext=&LogicalID://infor.app-builder-designer.mongoose.
For Site ID URL, efd0f3d2-10cb-46be-8b00-40480d0364cf.
- If you select Website, specify the URL in http://
or https:// protocols.
- Click Save.
