Adding a parameter

You can add parameters for the event handlers.

  1. Create or edit a widget.
    • If you are creating a new widget, perform the steps on New Page.
    • If you are updating an existing widget, perform the steps on Edit Page.
  2. In the Elements section, select a widget attribute.
  3. In the Data Properties section, click the Edit parameters icon.
  4. In the Parameters dialog box, click Add parameter.
  5. Specify this information:
    Parameter key
    Select the input parameter for the data service.
    Binding Type
    Select Static, Variable, or Expression.

    Variable
    Depending on the binding type, specify the static or the variable value, or open the expression editor to use custom expressions.
  6. Click Save.
  7. In the Data Properties section, click the Run Event Handler icon.
To edit or delete a parameter, click the Actions menu or ellipses button.
